Just go with my general rule: "if it's from D&D Wiki, it's not allowed." If the first archetype is that bad (on top of the slightly overpowered general class features), then I'm not even going to read the other two archetypes. "You can keep making attacks until you hit as a bonus action" and "you can wield heavy bladed weapons in one hand as a light finessible weapon" are just so rediculous it's patentable. Maybe as 17th?Īrchetypes: oh my god that's ridiculous. I'm not very good at judging the higher level abilities, but being able to change the target of an evocation spell to you or cause it to go off before it reaches its target as a reaction seems a over the top. Adding additional magic damage to your weapon when it's charged seems a little powerful. (EDIT: Derro get advantage on all spell saves - that's where I've seen it.) Doesn't seem too bad, but probably want to ditch it in light of the other abilities being stronger. I feel like I've seen something like that somewhere. Gaining advantage on all magic saves if you cast a spell feels familiar. Increase damage but decrease number of targets. Blade Magic is a lot like the Magus in Pathfinder - you charge your weapon with the spell and the target of your weapon attack also gets the spell. Unsure about Extra Attack with that spell progression. I'd drop it down to ranger status.Ībilities don't seem too bad. Spells known is stronger than a ranger but weaker than a sorc. Same spell progression as a cleric similar armor proficiencies.
